What your rehabilitation covers
We’ll keep your session focused and practical, review progress, fine-tune your programme, and make changes you can put into action straight away.
-
Progress review: What’s improved, what’s still limiting you, and how symptoms behave day-to-day.
-
Re-test & retarget: Range, strength, control and function to guide the next step.
-
Treatment today: Hands-on therapy where useful, plus progressed exercises and load guidance.
-
Plan the next phase: Clear milestones before your next session and when to progress or taper.
Who benefits from a longer rehabilitation session
These sessions are suitable for sessions where more time is needed for education, technique coaching, or gradual load progressions.
-
Low back pain & sciatica (progression and flare-up strategies)
-
Neck pain/whiplash (posture, pacing, work-set-up advice)
-
Shoulder & rotator cuff (strength progressions, return-to-gym steps)
-
Knee pain (ACL/meniscus/PFPS) (phased loading, change-of-direction drills)
-
Achilles tendinopathy / Plantar fasciitis (tendon-loading progressions)
-
Ankle sprains (balance, control, return-to-running)
-
Hip osteoarthritis (strength, mobility, function blocks)
-
Post-surgery rehab (rotator cuff, ACL, joint replacement)

What we do in a rehab session (longer format)

When we adapt the plan
Your programme isn’t fixed — we adjust it session by session so it stays effective and realistic. Changes are based on how you’re feeling, what the tests show, and what life looks like between visits (work, family, training).

If symptoms change significantly, or you’re preparing for post-surgery rehab or a return to sport, we’ll adjust your pathway and timelines.
How many sessions will I need?
-
Progressive loading: Upgrade your programme with the right sets, reps, and tempo.
-
Movement quality: Technique coaching, cues, and video feedback where helpful.
-
Manual therapy (if useful): Short-term relief to help you train better.
-
Pacing & load management: Weekly plan that works with your job, family, and training.
-
Return-to-activity steps: Clear criteria for gym, running, and sport skills.
-
Education you can use: What to do on good days vs. flare-ups and how to track progress.
